FAQs about MCscope High Magnification Microscope

What is a high magnification microscope used for?

High magnification microscopes are primarily used to observe fine structures, tiny defects, or micro patterns in industries such as electronics, semiconductors, materials science, and biology. They are ideal for inspecting PCBs, chips, wafers, metallographic samples, and microelectronic components.

What magnification range is available?

Our systems typically support magnifications from 28X to500X, depending on the optical lens and camera resolution. You can choose from various lens combinations to meet your specific inspection or analysis needs.

How do you calculate the magnification of your digital microscope?

We calculate the total magnification using the following formula:

Magnification = (Objective Lens × Auxiliary Lens × Eyepiece × Monitor Size × 25.4) ÷ Sensor Diagonal

In most cases, we use a 27-inch monitor as the standard reference for calculation. This method gives a close approximation of what you see on screen compared to the actual size of the sample when viewed with the naked eye.

Can I capture and save images and videos?

Yes, all MCscope digital microscopes allow users to capture still images and record videos directly. USB models support software capture to a PC, while HDMI models allow image and video capture using a TF card (with optional measurement overlay).

Do your microscopes support measurement functions?

Yes, they come with built-in measurement tools for distance, angle, radius, area, and more. These tools allow you to perform accurate on-screen measurements and save the results with annotations.

Can I customize the microscope system based on my needs?

Yes, MCscope systems are modular and highly customizable. You can select specific lenses, cameras (2K/4K, autofocus, anti-glare), lighting (coaxial, ring light, polarized), and stands to suit your workflow and application.
